摘要
Many people take it for granted that the college English teaching mode for "leaner autonomy" is nothing but to ask students to learn to self-study with the student-centered class teaching. In fact, the scientific college English teaching mode for "leaner autonomy" is not just the case at all. It is the product of modern high technology and the embodiment of the theory of "leaner autonomy" in college English teaching. What's more, with its unique course design and teaching management, it has to be based on those teachers who are skillful at computer network and software. For another thing, this teaching model is very necessary and even urgent for the scale and characteristic of Chinese current and even future college English teaching, especially it can make up for the weaknesses arising from our current family and school education. In addition, the education philosophy involved in this teaching model completely agrees with the ultimate goal of education developing students' ability of learning autonomy.
