The Study on College Students' Translation Competence of Chinese Culture

Recently, there has been a phenomenon of paying a lot of attention to the study of the culture of English-speaking countries, but less importance paid to learning the Chinese culture. This results in college students' poor expression of the Chinese culture. In order to change this situation, improvement should be focused in many aspects. This article emphasizes the importance of translation methods and techniques to improve students' translation competence of Chinese culture and aims to arouse the attention of college English translation teaching in order to promote the Chinese culture to the world.
