Mexican and chinese college students implicit attitude toward mutual culture

摘要
This research use SC-IAT, cognition to Mexico or China test and cultural contact experiment to study the implicit attitude of Mexican and Chinese college students to mutual culture. The results show that (a) Chinese college students have positive implicit attitude to Mexican culture in pre-test and post-test of SC-IAT; (b) In the SC-IAT post-test, Chinese college students in experimental group hold more positive attitude than those in Chinese control group (t=2.554, p<0.05); (c) In the cognition to China test, Mexican college students know more about China, compared with Chinese college students who know less about Mexico in the cognition to Mexico test; (d) Mexican college students in experimental and control group have neutral explicit attitude to Chinese culture in pre-test of SC-IAT (p>0.01); (e) Mexican college students in experimental group hold more positive attitude than those in Mexican control group in post-test of SC-IAT (t=-4.22, p<0.001); (f) cultural contact was testified effectively in this study.
