摘要
On the basis of studies, it is established that the major part of the metal loss during corrosion-mechanical wear occurs as a result of corrosion intensified by friction. Corrosion during friction occurs at the actual contact sites, where the corrosion rate is hundreds of thousands of times greater than on a metal surface without friction. A testing arrangement and procedure have been developed which make it possible to determine corrosion either over an entire rubbing surface or at actual contact sites on the basis of experiments.
