Sliding mode control of linear time delay systems: A design via LMIs

摘要
Two types of sliding mode controllers for uncertain time delay system are designed. The conditions for the existence of the sliding regime are studied via Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals. The upper bound of the delay is then shown to be the solution of a convex minimization problem expressed in terms of LMIs. A third-order example illustrates the design methods.
