This article introduces and applies advanced cost engineering methodology, approaches, and procedures for the presentation of graphic formats that deal with earned workhours and project schedule durations; these graphic formats permit realistic projections of at-completion workhours and schedule completion dates early (at 10 to 25 percent of completion) in a project's timeline. These advanced cost engineering concepts, methods, techniques, procedures, and supporting graphic applications are directly transferable to major US Department of Energy (DOE) construction projects of varying cost magnitude and schedule complexity.
