摘要：

This article describes an educational experience at the University of Cantabria, specifically in the subject "the school as an educational community (2nd year, Early Childhood Education degree)". With the help of our teacher, the authors, students of the subject during the 2016-17 academic year, approached the subject from the perspective of the discussion on the values of the public in early childhood education. In this article we describe our experience on the subject based on its main milestones, thereby attempting to encourage a more general debate on the correct meaning of state's education
