Crystal structure of the adduct of lanthanum tris(hexafluoroacethylacetonate) with 1,10-phenanthroline La(Hfa)3(Phen)2

摘要
The crystal structure of La(Hfa)(3)(Phen)(2) (Hfa = hexafluoroacetylacetonate ion) was determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction. Crystals are monoclinic with a = 13.583(3) Angstrom, b = 16.959(3) Angstrom, c 18.860(4) Angstrom, 94.71(3)degrees, V = 4330(1) Angstrom(3), Z = 4, space group P2(1)/n, R = 0.052 for 2997 reflections with 1 > 2sigma(I). The lanthanum atom coordinates six oxygen atoms of three hexafluoroacetylacetonate ligands ((La-O)(av) = 2.548(4) Angstrom) and four nitrogen atoms of two phenanthroline molecules ((La-N)(av) = 2.773(8) Angstrom) in the vertices of a distorted sphenocorona.
