摘要
The objective of this paper is to demonstrate the practical investigations on reducing conducted emissions on power supply output line especially when it travels through cable for long distances (around 1.5 meters). Common mode chokes provides an effective EMI filtering solution and withstands high DC currents and allows the signal to pass unaffected. This paper aims to provide a solution to control the emissions which is coming out from the cables with the help of CMC. The conducted emission levels on the output lines were measured with and without EMI filter (CMC). The CE test result indicated the emission levels above the limit without CMC. With the addition of CMC the emission level found to be around 15 dB below the requirements of CISPIR22 EMI/EMC Standards for conducted emissions.
