摘要
We intend to answer the question: What are the probable implications for literacy initiatives if we accept them as cultural, daily, historical and social contextualized practices? We link literacy to the various spheres of social life, taking into account the regional aspects for its development, in the direction of Local Knowledge, in order to build an emancipatory knowledge, sought in some proposals of Cultural Studies, as in Boaventura de Souza Santos. The notion of literacy operated in this article is one that can be extracted from the propositions of the National Curricular Common Base in articulation with the notion of Letters by Magda Soares and Rildo Cosson. In addition to the literature review on the notion of literacy, we work with the idea of contextualization between literature and student experiences, defended by Lajolo, and regionalism, addressed by Ligia Chiappini. It results from the proposed theoretical articulation that literature goes beyond aesthetic fruition, makes possible the political, ideological, cultural formation and the emancipation of the human being.
