摘要：

This statement addresses the need and tries to motivate the use of film as a tool to support effective teaching of literature. This is still no practice in Bulgarian schools. Using adaptation is not intended to replace the traditional way of teaching literature classes. The film adaptation will be used as a tool. The text refers to the views and experiences of teachers and academics from the United Kingdom and United States of America.
