摘要
This paper has reassessed the construct validity using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to verify the items validity and reliability for Universiti Sains Malaysia Emotional Quotient Inventory (USMEQ-i). A quantitative survey was conducted involving 1845 respondents using stratified sampling. The 36 items with seven main SQ constructs have been tested. The KMO and Bartlett's tests was significant. The Cronbach's alpha, and factor loadings items were indicating high reliability. The total of 49.214 percent of data variance with five constructs were recommended. In further research, this data can be extended if USMEQ-i being tested with different groups.
