Proposal for an educational program oriented to good practices in oral health

The study sought to know if the strategies implemented to improve self-care practices in oral health in the school population decreased the prevalence of oral pathologies such as dental caries and periodontal disease. The approach to carry out this study was descriptive, 2 important stages are conceived, through a quantitative analysis. This research was carried out at the IED Superior Normal School Maria Auxiliadora, in the city of Santa Marta as an axis of study in the dental office of this educational institution, taking into account the students attending dental practice.
