摘要
this work presents a method for solving optimal number and location of power quality monitors in transmission power systems. The problem is modeled as a multi -objective problem to acquire a tradeoff between the data redundancy and the economical efficiency. A multi-objective optimal placement model is built, in which the monitoring locations and the number of monitors are taken as objects. Adaptive genetic algorithm is used to solve the formulated optimal model problem. The evolution attenuator factor is introduced into the genetic algorithm, which enables the new adaptive genetic algorithm to adjust the possibilities of crossover and mutation adaptively according to both the individual fitness and evolution generations. The objective functions in Pareto optimal solution set are analyzed and the scheme corresponding to the maximum value is chosen as the appropriate optimal solution. Through the simulation of an IEEE 30-bus system, a reasonable scheme for the placement of power quality monitors is obtained; meanwhile the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified.
