摘要
This paper discussed embedded operating system (OS) in SoC whith the architect is inhomogeneous asymmetric multi-processor. All of multi-processor resources are described to the virtual computer conception, which can be managed by OS for application program. An embedded OS supporting multi-processor is designed to two layers architecture: processor-related object layer and processor-unrelated it. Embedded multi-processor OS not only has resource management function of general single-processor OS but also provides application program with a uniform interface by building up the uniform system calls module. The efficient communication mechanism must be established synchronously among multi-processor and intelligent agent mechanism by uniform system calls module provided to application program. On the TI's dual-core processor TMS320VC5471 EVM, such an embedded multi-processor OS is formed by mu CLinux in ARM subsystem and mu COS in DSP subsystem.
