摘要：

"Network grassroots translation" is a new form of translation burgeoning with the development of internet technology. Taking the network grassroots translations on one English poem "I'm afraid" as example, this paper tries to explore the manifestations and effects of the translator's subjectivity in two different renderings. In addition, the proper translation principle for network grassroots translation is suggested by the author, in hope of providing some enlightenment for online translation enthusiasts.
