摘要：
A rapid coliphage detection assay was developed, based on the phage-induced release of beta -galactosidase from cells of Escherichia coli. The assay could detect as few as five coliphage per sample without an overnight incubation period. The range of acceptable assay parameters was identified. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
