H3PW12O40 catalyzed liquid phase nitration of aromatics - a green process without using H2SO4

摘要
H3PW12O40 with Keggin structure showed excellent activity for liquid phase nitration of various aromatic compounds, suggesting the possibility of a green nitration process by simply replacing H2SO4 in current nitration unit. The H3PW12O40 could be recycled to use with constant activity. Effects of various reaction parameters were investigated extensively.
