摘要
Knowledge creation is becoming more and more significant to success of business organizations, and the applications of complexity theory are increasing. in organizational science researches. Under this background, this paper analyses the facilitating factors for organizational knowledge creation from complex adaptive systems (CAS). An ideal organizational knowledge creation system should be a complex adaptive system. Then based on the cause of system emergence phenomenon and the origin of complexity., six factors facilitating organizational knowledge creation are summarized, respectively agent adaptation, interaction between agents, system openness, tagging, diversity and self-organization. These will help to further understand the main drivers of organizational knowledge creation and provide a foundation for empirical and computational modeling research in future.
