Group Company Industry Platform Strategy: Origin, Implication and Research Framework

摘要
Group company industry platform strategy is a new tool that utilizes platform thinking to realize parenting advantage so as to create an internal integration ecological circle for the group company, improve overall competitiveness and broaden horizon. In the first place, this paper discusses theoretical origin of group company industry platform strategy which originates in research on commercial field platform and then experiences three stages, namely, product platform, industry platform and platform strategy. Secondly, this paper defines the implications of group company industry platform and group company industry platform strategy. Then, oriented by the following questions: how to analyze, how to choose, how to operate and how to evaluate, this paper initiates a Factor-Type-Mechanism-Efficiency Research Framework for group company industry platform strategy. hi the end, this paper points out future research direction from three perspectives.
