摘要
The purpose of this Study was to compare the tensile properties and the corrosion behavior of a newly developed Ti-7.5Mo alloy with that of c.p. Ti, Ti-15Mo and Ti-6Al-4V alloys in their as-cast state. The experimental results indicated that the modulus of the Ti-7.5Mo alloy (70GPa) was lower than that of Ti-15Mo by 17%, of c.p. Ti by 36% and of Ti-6Al-4V by 38%. The Ti-7.5Mo alloy had excellent corrosion resistance similar to that of c.p. Ti in view of the passive Current density. The Ti-15Mo alloy had corrosion resistance somewhat lower than c.p. Ti. These results can be correlated with that the amount of Mo in the outer layers of Ti-7.5Mo was smaller than the amount in Ti-15Mo. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
