摘要
Many conflicts among pedestrians, vehicles and bicycles flow exits, which increase delay and decreases capacity of the intersections. Most conflicts happened on crosswalk and conflicts become more seriously. The paper discussed Pedestrian capacity of crosswalk. The crosswalk capacity is useful for designing crosswalk and the timing of the various pedestrian-signal phases. Using Track which is a video software for collecting traffic flow data, the typical intersections were observed. Six crosswalks in two signalized intersections were studied. Data of walking speeds and pedestrian flows were collected. Data was obtained by various travel purposes of pedestrian. According to the model of a quadratic polynomial I this paper builds a pedestrian traffic flow statistical model and finally gives the pedestrian capacity of crosswalk based on the statistical model in Beijing.
