摘要
This study investigates the impact of human resource management practices on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). A convenience sample of one hundred and twenty (N= 120) employees was surveyed from twenty five different branches of Mercantile Bank Ltd. Bangladesh. The structured survey questionnaire used to seek to obtain primary information through five point Likert Scale. Linear regressions were used to analyze the data collected. The Pearson correlation results support all hypotheses stating that there is a positive relationship among human resource management practices and organizational citizenship behavior. The findings of the study indicate that the selected practice of HRM of that bank has positive relationship with OCB. Finally, this study suggest that the management should ensure the practice for the banks to develop a sense of belongingness in the mind of all the employees working together to get the desired behavior which can not be measured by monetary terms only.
