QUALITY ASSURANCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION

In the new European Higher Education Area is important to establish quality assurance systems that can be adapted to different national actualities, bearing in mind the requirements of the European strategy. The strengths of the universities are increasingly living in good relations with its environment, offering answers to the needs of all its stakeholders, placing them in the center of the academic and researchers. This paper presents the content of the quality manual of the centers of the University of Vigo and the breakdown of procedures, emphasizing the most relevant indicators for each procedure in order to comply with national requirements and European move continuous improvement and excellence.
