摘要
Heat recovery ventilator is a feasible way to ease the contradiction between indoor air quality and fresh air handling energy consumption. The paper presents an experimental analysis of a heat recovery ventilator which uses only sensible heat exchanger combined with indirect evaporation cooling (IEC) technology. In this study, two different placement methods (horizontal and vertical) prototypes of heat recovery ventilator combine with IEC were made and the structure and related parameters of the two prototypes were introduced specifically. Then, the porotypes were test on the test rig with different summer operating conditions. Additionally, based on the experimental resulting, the energy consumption saving capability in different China's regions of the two prototypes were evaluated by a specific net energy saving parameter, and the result shows that both vertical and horizontal IECs can reduce energy consumption during cooling seasons in most regions of China.
