Observing shear flow induced conformational changes of vWF using TEM

摘要
A transmission electron microscopy (TEM) study of vWF conformational change was carried out. TEM images were taken to compare the conformations before and after shear flow was applied. The vWF multimers initially coiled and become extended. The degree of conformational changes increased with the applied shear rate.
