摘要
Frequent occurrence of longitudinal cracks in face areas or masts made of prestressed concrete resulted in investigation of sources and stress intensity causing these cracks. Static calculations were applied to hoop tensile stresses caused by the wedge influence of prestressed reinforcement in face areas as well as an uneven temperature distribution in the concrete of mast. In analysis of the wedge effect of prestressed stranding in mast face areas a relation was derived for determination of the mean tensile hoop stress intensity. This makes it possible to estimate the influence of this effect on longitudinal cracking. In this article values obtained by calculation are compared with experimentally evaluated values. These values verify the importance of the various effects.
