摘要
The mechanical and technological properties of cast iron largely depend on the shape of the graphite obtained in the solidification process. By controlling the degree of compactness of the graphite precipitations in the structure of vermicular cast iron, it is possible to obtain the desired physicomechanical properties. Studies have shown that, if the nodular graphite rate increases by 2. 54 for a given chemical composition and a given structure, the tensile strength increases from 373 to 590 N/mm**2, while the elongation increases by 5. 8.
