摘要
The base-isolation with energy transducer (BIET) system is the base-isolation structure equipped with energy transducer on isolation storey, which can transform part of the seismic energy into hydraulic energy and store it. Shaking table tests of a 5-floor steel frame model (BIET system) are conducted to study the effects of energy transition, the control of the BIET system, and the performance of the transducer. The study lays the foundation for the application of the system. The results of the tests show that the energy transducer performs well in energy transition with merits such as reliable output of force and stable energy dissipation, and the BIET system can transform 50%-80% of the seismic energy into hydraulic energy on the premise that the structural control function is similar to that in the lead rubber bearing isolation system.
