摘要
This study was done for the purpose of indicating sustainable development awareness levels of pre-service teachers. The findings of research were obtained by implementing sustainable development awareness scale to the pre-service teachers studying in different departments at Education Faculty of Ahi Evran University. The scale was implemented to 504 pre-service teachers. There were 293 girls and 211 boys' pre-service teachers in the study group. As compared to the departments, sustainable development awareness levels of pre-service teachers are high in terms of environmental ethics, social factors and total points and medium in terms of environmental economic. As compared to the departments, sustainable development awareness levels of pre-service teachers are significantly different both in total points and in terms of environmental ethics and environmental economic. On the contrary, there is no significant difference in terms of social factor as compared to the departments. There is no significant difference between both total and all factors related to sustainable development awareness levels of pre-service teachers in terms of gender.
