摘要：
This article outlines the strategies for the translation of Middle Dutch texts into Polish. Some chosen features typical for the medieval literature are analysed with regard to modern Dutch and (possible) Polish translations. Erotic elements, metaphors and the necessity of additional explanations or simplifications are shown based on some examples of the already published texts and other possible translations.
