MECHANICAL STRENGTH OF TIN DIOXIDE OBTAINED BY SOL-GEL METHOD AND CONDITIONS OF ITS HYDROTHERMAL AND THERMAL CAKING

摘要
The crushing strength of tin dioxide granules is shown to decrease with increase of its pore diameter and temperature of hydrothermal processing (373-573 K, 6 h). The thermoprocessing of tin dioxide in air (373-973 K, 6 h) results in the increase (beginning at 773 K) of mechanical strength, with the pore diameter also increasing.
