Educational psychology and psychopedagogy in Spain (1968-2008)

The development of Psychology is analyzed, and particularly Educative Psychology in Spain, from 1968 to 2008. We consider the legislative aspects that have regulated the professional activity of psychologists, educators and educational advisors. In 1992, the Real Decree that established the university title of Educational Advisor Degree was published, with official nature and validity in all over the country. We comment the political and social circumstances which make to establish such degree, and the conflicting relation between the Degree in Educational Advisor and the Psychology of Education. We offer some especially pertinent reflections in the current situation of reform of university degrees in the European Higher Education Area.
