The matter of Spain is a complicated problem, both philosophical and historical. This article is the consequence of a dialog between a philosopher and a historian who want to explain where the origin of Spain's matter is, which the characteristics are and how History and philosofic reflection can help Spain at the beginning of the XXI century.
