The Physical Education teaching staff and the health promotion in the educational centers

摘要
This article had as objective to examine the existent approaches around the practice of physical moderate and systematic activity, as mean to contribute to control the overweight in people in Ecuador, because little more than 30% of their youths smaller than 18 years are sedentary or they don't carry out physical exercises, being reported a rate of an obese at the present time or with overweight for each three of them, being the national combined prevalent of those indicators of 26% in that social stratum. As methodology the documental exhaustive revision was used, supported in the analysis-synthesis, the induction-deduction and the systemic focus for the elaboration of the theoretical body of this report. The course of this investigation was guided by this question: How the physical education teaching staff contributes to the promotion of the students' health in the educational centers and which strategies they should be applied in the same ones? The discernment of this inquiry were: relationship among the systematic practice of physical activities for the students and the health; the strategies of promotion of health in the educational centers y and the Physical Education teaching staff competitions to achieve that purpose. This study revealed as conclusion the relevancy existence among the educational politicians in Ecuador and the high indexes of obesity and prevalent sedentarismo in schoolars; however, that teaching staff has limitations with their permanent formation, restricting they to develop from the own formative process styles of healthy lives and lasting for the adulthood among their students.
