摘要：
A small, portable, open-loop metering microvolume pump has been developed to supply insulin to diabetics in preprandial boluses and at a slow base rate delivery. The pump can be worn like a pocket pager, and has demonstrated an excellent capability to control diabetes when its switches are set occording to the patient's needs, based on frequent self-testing for blood glucose. Clinical trials are continuing.
