摘要
The work with reading and writing in school should allow the involvement of students in real and authentic language practice. By understanding how to use a text which belongs to a particular genre, it is assumed that people may use the language more effectively (MEC, 2001). In order to achieve this, the teacher can promote educational projects that aim to increase knowledge about the different genres by reading, writing and discussing about the use of the selected genres and their social functions, their composition, their style. This work aims to show how it is possible to provide, since primary school, the study of argumentation. For this, it analyzes productions from a project conducted with students in the 5 th grade of elementary school, which involves the study and production of advertising texts. The publicity was chosen because it can be used as a model of seduction/persuasion (MONNERAT, 2003), and, in this way, favor the teaching of some aspects of argumentation. As a guideline for this work, it was used the Semiolinguistics Theory of Discourse Analysis, by Charaudeau (1992, 2009).
