PHYSICAL EDUCATION: RETHINKING PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES AND SOCIABILITIES AROUND SPORTS IN CONTEMPORARY CULTURE

摘要
Sport, one of the most important phenomena of contemporary culture, receives more and more attention in its different manifestations forms. One has been discussed a lot about its use and practice in physical education classes. New theoretical perspectives have treated sports differently in education. It is far from what theorists suggest, and a lot of the classes continue to be based on the model of performance sports. This study tries to recover the moment when sport got space in physical education classes until it reaches a highlight place, establishing a dialogue with the tendencies and pedagogical practices of the area. Its goal is to analyze issues that deal with the development of sport in physical education classes, and to propose pedagogical practices that may be linked to the educational process of the students and their sociabilities. The essay tries to provoke thoughts that allow the improvement of development of sports teaching in school, aiming at the students' education, academic education and citizenship. In conclusion, the author understands that sport can be fundamental to education, not classifying students according to sport merits, but considering their individualities and differences to motivate practices that make students aware of their roles and responsibilities in society.
