摘要：
In the year 2006, the ITCR started a project which aim is the implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS), to begin accomplishing that objective two research activities were completed. One was the study of the environmental regulation of Costa Rica and international agreements in the environmental topic, and the second activity was an initial revision of possible environmental impacts product of the ITCR activities. The study site was campus of the ITCR in Cartago.
