摘要
The main purpose of this work is analyse the impact of certain proactive attitudes and knowledge that people have about the consumption of electricity in homes. For this, a survey was applied to 1100 households in the metropolitan area of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. We used a regression model to explore some relations within the sample selected. The results show that income levels are important to determine the habits of use, for that reason, a higher income level implies a greater willingness to consume electricity at home. Also, it is found that the price of energy service, is a variable that helps to ration electricity use, like some attitudes and beliefs.
