摘要
The aim of this paper is to determine whether different self-concepts (physical, social, family, intellectual, personal and sense of control) and academic performance vary by gender freshmen at the University of Jaen. T., Art History, Psychology, Tourism, Chemistry, Law, Physical Education teacher, topography and Statistics and Computer Management. The instrument used was the "Self-Concept Questionnaire (CAG)" developed by Garcia Torres (2001) to evaluate the different dimensions of self-concept. The conclusions drawn from this study is that men score above average in every respect to self-concepts and academic performance no differences between men and women.
