摘要
Large dynamically stressed forgings in nuclear and conventional power stations constitute a high risk potential if flaws are present and must therefore be subjected to ultrasonic inspection. Since flaws frequently cannot be repaired, it is important to determine their size for an appraisal of component integrity by fracture mechanics. By the example of large rotation-symmetrical forgings with manufacturing flaws, the possibilities and limits of evaluating the ultrasonic findings are described. © 1990.
