The paper presents the analysis of the concepts of professional identity and the process of identification. Professional identity is associated with adjusting one's own values, standards and rules of behavior by an individual, which can perform as an index of proficiency as a component of professional self-concept of a specialist. The analysis of the scientific literature allowed to generalize the main functions of forming professional identity of a future teacher: attitude and evaluative one provides the presence of a formed attitude, character of value orientations to the profession of a teacher, which have to project these values to pupils, to hold ideals of profession, realize its importance and understand a teacher's place in the modern world; normative and comparative one provides formation of the behavior patterns of representatives of pedagogical society with own rules, values, which help to create the imaginations about a modern teacher; cognitive and active one emerges on the basis of the obtained knowledge, views, which create a foundation of understanding the essence of professional identity, ways of reaching it and its importance in the professional activity; social one ensures self-realization as a teacher, an expert, realization of own belonging to the pedagogical community, formation of the concept. self-ideal., responsibility to the society for one's own pedagogical activity. The article also deals with the concept of vitagene training, which is considered as training based on the actualization of life experience of a personality, his/her intellectual and psychological potential aimed at realization of educational needs. The author also deals with a concept "holographic projection", which he determines as information, which should be found in different extra sources: vitagene experience, other knowledge, obtained of books, mass media, works of art, internet etc. It has been shown that the usage of vitagene technology alongside with holographic projection method activates all the functions of the process of future teacher's professional identity formation. This technology provides a cumulative effect on the formation of a future teacher's professional identity and can be considered as an integrative technology.
