FORMING OF PROFESSIONAL MASTERY OF A FUTURE TECHNOLOGY TEACHER DURING PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

摘要
This article deals with the professional competence of a technology teacher. The components of pedagogical skills and their specificity are examined. The main criteria of pedagogical skills were described and characterized. Forming of professional competence of a technology teacher is considered today as an integral part of higher education system reform in general. The main goal of it is in training technically and technologically educated professional according to the demands of information society, forming required technical knowledge, abilities and skills and forming basic components of information culture. In connection with this, the problem of training of professionally qualified teachers, during the course of studying in higher educational establishments, has been arisen. The competence possesses the appropriate competence by a person that includes person's attitude to it and to the subject of activity. New trends in the society development require improving teaching skills and being competitive. For the technology teachers there are special competences alongside the key competences. We think it's reasonable to consider teacher's professional competency as integrity of key and special competences. Key competences of a technology teacher reflect teacher's culture and are subdivided into: professional and educational, social and motivational, informational, communicative and creative. Professional mastery of a teacher is based on a high level of professional skills, his/her general culture and pedagogical experience. Improving professional competence is a dynamic process of mastering professional experience, leading to the development of individual professional qualities, accumulation of professional experience that means continuing development and self-improvement.
