THE TRAINING AND MEMORY TEST - COMPARISON BETWEEN PAPER-PENCIL AND COMPUTER-CONTROLLED VARIANTS

Growing importance has been assumed by nootropics research in recent years. However, with the spectrum of test procedures so far available, application to man has differed from animal experiments, in that nootropic effects had not been unambiguously recorded from the former. A training and memory test has now been devised as a new procedure by which to measure processes of learning and memory. The subtle phenomena of locomotor fatigue which had been observed in response to the paper-pencil variant were minimised by use of a computer-controlled variant.
