When Wei Xiaoping was a visiting scholar in the Department of Political Science at Columbia University, she regularly visited the New School to attend Nancy Fraser's seminar on Habermas's The Theory of Communicative Action (vol. 1, 1984; vol. 2, 1989). She interviewed Nancy on March 20, 2012, before she returned to Beijing. Presented below is the manuscript of the interview scrutinized by Nancy Fraser and Wei Xiaoping.
