摘要：
The fast industrialization process and urbanization development brought several environmental problems and public health, arousing interest in many social sectors in search of population well-being and socio environmental development. In this context, the environmental education arises as a strategy plan for a construction of values, knowledge, attitudes and life quality. Regarding the life quality is that narrow the tie between the environmental education and health, mainly related to promotion, prevention and recovery in health environmental. This study discusses about the relationship existing between the environmental education and health and points the environmental education as a tool in primary health care.
