摘要
Objective: we evaluated the perception of nurses on health education in primary care, and the instruments used and the actions provided to promote health education with users. Method: the empirical research was carried out through interviews and analyzed qualitatively using the technique of analysis of the collective subject discourse. Results: it was evident that health education should become a regular primary care, and for this you need are investments in infrastructure, organization of activities in executable schedules, qualification and simplification of educational materials, incentives for participation and attendance community and increased activities of all professionals, and their qualifications through training. Conclusion: there is a need to add to the core team of family health professionals, care for their value and, above all, the scientific knowledge that added to the others raise awareness on the importance of changing habits in order to prevent injury and promote health.
