摘要
The Latin American's model to the integration of Arab immigrants shows that the Arab integration is possible without leaving their identity. Although it emphasis that time and the involvement of the local population are important factors in this imperfect and incomplete process. This article mainly focuses about the history of Arab immigration to Latin America and it will also discover that the first Arab immigrants who went to this continent were Moroccans, while the Syrians, Lebanese and Palestinians arrived later. But finally all they managed to integrate in Latin American society. Therefore, this study tries to show that neither culture nor religion could prevent Arab immigrants to integrate into a different society. For this reason, it is necessary to combat prejudices and stereotypes, which are real obstacles to the integration process.
