Intellectual property and innovation processes in present-day Russia: Legal aspects

The retargeting Russia’s economy toward innovative development is being widely discussed at present. More often than not, economic and, less frequently, social aspects of this subject are considered, and this is quite justified. However, it is hardly possible to introduce innovation without legislative substantiation. This has been proved by the experience of many academic establishments. The legal regulation of intellectual property turnover and the use of innovations were discussed at a RAS Presidium meeting.
